It gives me so much sadness to inform my fellow brothers and sisters that last night [Tuesday 24th August] a dear brother and a close freind of mine has departed from this world. Indeed its a great mercy for a muslim to pass away in the blessed month of Ramadhan as the gates of hell are locked. I sat with his family last night, witnessing a heartbroken mother where her eyes were filled with floods of tears. The mother said to me “His greatest desire was to go to Madinah tul Manawarrah but now he has gone and left this world”. Think about the emotions the mother went through. So my Brothers and Sisters make you greatest desire to go to Madinah tul Manawarrah. Prepare for this as its the greatest location and best place to be. Ask those whom have been.
Brother Idrees passed away at the age of 26. He suffered and was diagnosed with cancer 6 months ago. I honestly feel we all need to become more serious with life. We have been told by our great leaders, Scholors, Masters nad Teachers of Islam to think of your graves. We will not be taking our properties, earnings or our valuable assets to our graves. We will have only one thing and that’s your belief. I request you all to come firm in this approach by being loyal and sincere to the greatest of creation his Eminence Sayidnah RasoolAllah [Salallaho Allehi Wasallam]. To attempt this we must remember that we have to love them more then ourselves. To love them more then yourselves means YOU MUST love and respect everyone. Someone who claims to love but at the same time is not so kind or loyal what kind of person is he in the eyes of the messenger [Salallaho Allehi Wasallam]?
Its time to wake up and realise. We only live once and this life is just a test. If we can pass this test by being good Muslims, kind, loving and firm in our approach of the ways of the messenger of Allah [Sallalaho Allehu Allehi Wasallam] then paradise is ours. I know it may sound easy saying then doing but this is reality.
Here are a few narrations to remind you all about death.
Quran-e Kareem
“Every soul shalll taste death. You will be paid your wages in full on the Day of Rising. Anyone who is distanced from the Fire and admitted to the Garden, has triumphed. The life of this world is only the enjoyment of delusion,” (3:185)
“No self knows what it will earn tomorrow and no self knows in what land it will die.” (W31:33; H31:34)
Hadith-e-Rasool
Sayidnah Abu Hurayrah {Radhi Allah ho Anho} reported that the Messenger of Allah [Sallal laho Allehi Wasallam], said, “Remember frequently the thing that cuts off pleasures,” i.e. death.” [at-Tirmidhi]
May Allah protect us from the punishments of the grave and grant us a peaceful rest through the sadqah of the blessed sandal of Sayidnah RasoolAllah [Salalaho Allehi Wasallam] Ameen!.
